Course Details

         

The Diploma in Information Technology program is a comprehensive and industry-focused course that provides students with a strong foundation in key areas of information technology. From software development to network administration, this program covers a broad range of subjects to ensure students gain a well-rounded education in the field.

The program is designed to be completed over a period of three years, consisting of six semesters. Throughout the duration of the program, students will delve into various aspects of information technology through a combination of theoretical lectures, hands-on practical sessions, and real-world projects. Admission Process & Criteria:

Direct Admission (25% Seats): 

  •   Candidate must be cleared his/her Secondary/Madhyamik/10th Std or its equivalent examination.

  •   English, Physical Science and Mathematics must be there as major subjects.

  •   Valid JEXPO Rank and other criteria will be as per the norms of WBSCT&VE&SD.

Age Limitation: Candidates should not be born after 01.07.2009 and there is no upper age limit.

 

Indirect Admission:

JEXPO (75% Seats): Admission through JEXPO counselling centrally conducted by WBSCT&VE&SD.

Lateral Category (10% Seats): Admission Through WBSCT&VE&SD conducted VOCLET Examination and central counselling.
